For Adoptive, Kinship and Foster Parents (The Placing Agency you used does not matter. Private agency and DCYF families are welcome.).

  • Do you want to learn how to support your children in building healthy, trusting relationships?
  • Do you ever feel alone, not knowing whom you can talk to about the challenges your child with trauma can bring to the family?
  • Do you have experience as a caregiver and want to support others?

Join us to laugh and learn about the joys and struggles of caregiving!

This group is facilitated by Zia Freeman, MA, LMHC, Community Educator for Coordinated Care.  She has extensive experience running support groups for caregivers & parents, as well as providing Trauma-Informed based trainings in the community.  This is intended as a supportive and honest setting for caregivers to talk and share resources with one another!

Only adults should log on, and please minimize children hearing the discussion so that attendees can feel free to comment openly. The group meets twice a month on a Tuesday and Thursday.

Coordinated Care Support Group occurs several times. This is an open group, so you can join with any session – please register for the dates that work best for you. Attend as many as you wish!
