"Fostering the future"

 I was  a foster parent for over 30 years. I am now the Region 2 coordinator for Families for Kids. My job is to support caregivers who have children in out of home care. I also support Adoptive , pre-adoptive parents and kinship providers. I attend any meeting that  you feel you need someone to be with you. I believe caretakers need all the help they can get. I don't always have the answers , but will do my best to find  out what you need to know.

 I have worked with FPAWS for many years and find that they are there for caergivers and are doing a good job to try to change the system to support and find resources for them. Please join and support them! I feel that we need to join together to be heard with a loud voice to those who make the decisions for our children. The more members we have the more those in charge will listen.
