Lawsuit on behalf of licensed foster parents

The lawsuit continues and both sides are gathering their evidence. It looks like we will be in court has been pushed out to the first of the year 2013. Please view the lawsuit as filed with the United States District Court. Beth and I, along with every member of our FPAWS Board see this as our duty and responsibility. We are building a strong working relationship with Children's Administration and have been working for years to make foster care better for children in our State. We plan to continue working along side CA leadership as this suit proceeds as we are all committed to doing what is best for these children.

This suit stems from proceedings in the 9th District US Court of Appeals where the foster parents of California filed similar action and which has just recently completed the appeals process. It was that Court's finding that led FPAWS to take this action.
